Frequently Asked Questions

We've got answers to your questions! Prepare for an amazing experience when you visit The Method.

What types of orthopedic injuries do you treat?

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal issues that keep you from performing your best. This includes common conditions like back and neck pain, joint issues (shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle), muscle sprains, and tendonitis. We also specialize in complex cases such as ACL rehab, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain that hasn't responded to traditional physical therapy.

How is sports performance PT different from traditional rehab?

Traditional physical therapy focuses on getting you back to baseline. At The METHOD, we’re not here for baseline -we’re here for your best. We treat every client like an athlete. We analyze movement, biomechanics, and lifestyle to not only resolve pain, but to elevate how you move, perform, and live. From strength and stability to power, speed, and control, our Doctors of Physical Therapy help you build a body that keeps up with your goals, through every phase of life

What does the "Build you up" phase of your METHOD involve?

Once we have addressed your initial pain (the "Calm you down" phase), we move into building a bulletproof foundation. This involves progressive overload strengthening, neuromuscular re-education, and movement analysis. The goal is to ensure your body is resilient enough to handle the specific demands of your sport or active lifestyle without the injury returning.

How do you handle post-surgical or ACL rehabilitation?

Our post-surgical protocols are intensive and highly individualized. Unlike high-volume clinics where you might be left to do exercises on your own, every session at The METHOD is one-on-one for a full hour. We guide you through every milestone of recovery, from regaining initial mobility to the final functional testing required for a safe return to sport.

Can you help me even if I am not currently injured?

Yes! And it’s a big part of why people choose The METHOD. We don’t wait for injuries to happen. We proactively identify the subtle movement breakdowns and “weak links” that are holding you back or setting you up for them. Then we go to work refining your mechanics, building strength where it matters, and helping you move with more power, control, and efficiency than before.
