Physical Therapy, done differently

 Meet the Team

Dr. Jaxie Meth PT, DPT

Owner & Performance Pelvic Floor Specialist

Jacqueline Meth PT, DPT (aka Jaxie) graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology in 2011 and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from American International College in 2015.

Jaxie started The METHOD in 2020 after working for years in a high-volume outpatient clinic and seeing how our healthcare system doesn’t allow patients to get the care they deserve. She strongly believes that anyone who chooses to move their body is an athlete and should be treated so. Jaxie combines her background in athletics and performance with her extensive continued education in the pelvic floor to offer a unique and different experience to those experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction.

Jaxie completed a year-long residency at the prestigious Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, is certified in Functional Dry Needling and has internal certifications from Herman and Wallace. Jaxie is also an adjunct professor in the DPT program at Simmons University. You can catch her and her pup Kenzie all over the city, always with a smile on her face!

Dr. Rachael McGuinness PT, DPT

She has taken additional coursework through APPI Pilates and is Certified in SMFA Level 1, which helps her diagnose, evaluate and treat the root cause of her patient's limitations.

Rachael takes an active approach to physical therapy treatment both with her orthopedic and pelvic health patients. She approaches her patient's care with specificity and compassion, and really cares about getting her patients back to doing what they love.

Outside of the clinic you can find her reading her new book club book outside in the sun, scouring the North End for the best bolognese, trying out a new boutique fitness class, or taking her flag football team way too seriously.
