Pelvic Floor for Fit Pros: Elevate Your Coaching, Empower Your Clients
Pelvic Floor for Fit Pros: Elevate Your Coaching, Empower Your Clients
As a fitness professional, your clients trust you to keep them safe, strong, and confident — no matter where they are in life. But when it comes to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or pelvic floor dysfunction, things can get a little… unclear. There is so much noise (from both ends of the spectrum) out there about exercise during pregnancy and postpartum. How do you know what’s right for your client?
Should your client stop planking in their third trimester?
Is leaking during jump squats expected? Do you continue jumping if this is happening? Do you just keep modifying forever?
Does “coning” mean they should never do core work?
If you’ve ever been asked these questions — or wondered them yourself — you’re not alone. And that’s exactly why we created Pelvic Floor for Fitness Pros, a hands-on workshop designed to give trainers, coaches, and instructors the knowledge and tools to confidently coach clients through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
This workshop is interactive, movement-based and practical - built for trainers who want to apply what they learn immediately on the gym floor.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
Pelvic Floor 101 → Understand the anatomy, function, and role of the pelvic floor in life and in performance
Training Through Pregnancy → Learn what to look for, how to modify, and how to continue challenging your client through their pregnancy
Postpartum Recovery → Understand how to progress movement safely and effectively after birth.
Cues & Modifications → Know exactly what to say — and what to change — when clients experience symptoms like leakage, pain, prolapse, or pelvic pressure.
Myth Busting → Say goodbye to outdated pregnancy rules like “no exercise on your back” or “avoid core work completely.”
We’ll take the exercises you already coach — squats, deadlifts, presses, lunges, even impact drills — and break down how pregnancy, postpartum, and pelvic floor dysfunction can change your approach.
You’ll learn how to:
✅ Assess breath mechanics and intra-abdominal pressure
✅ Spot red flags and movement compensations
✅ Adjust load, position, or cues without over-restricting your client
✅ Build confidence in coaching real-world modifications
By the end of the workshop, you’ll walk away knowing how to keep your clients safe, strong, and supported — while also understanding when to refer out to a pelvic floor physical therapist.
